2 months ago i bought a cybermaxx hmd from ebay
last week it finally arrived and yesterday i connected it on my computer
switch on the power and i see nothing...some color difussion on the right eye
so i'm thinking, the hmd connect to a bunch of wires wit 2 monitor connectors, 1 in and 1 out
and an svideo cabele and sound cabels

could this bunch of wires be damaged? of is it the hmd itself?
when i received it it was still in original box and the manuals sealed in plastic like the were never been used

thought cybermaxx was a composite video device, not VGA?

I assume you have some type of VGA to composite video device.

If the lcds are not working then the ribbon cable
inside is probably loose. I can get my cybermaxx to work with game consoles and VCRs, but not the computer. Some advice to anyone who every considered getting a cybermaxx, DON'T. It is the
worst hmd I ever used.

ive contacted the person i bought from and she said this helmet is like new and never used before...everyting was in the box, a manual, discs, cables, adapter
so im thinking that this thing has a manufaturing fault ( or other words in english, i;m just dutch with bad english writing) :-)
maybe if i have more experiance with elektro technik i can repair it myself or use the hmd for parts

I once had a CyberMaxx shipped to me from USA to UK. A problem happened in shipping such that the LCD element came adrift from its
mounting due to glue bonding failing at joint with LCD wafer. This gave the impression that one LCD was not working, it may be your problem. You will need to open up unit to find if this is problem and only fix LCD in place again once you are sure that stereoscopic registration is correct with other LCD unit, to do this you will probably need unit to be displaying a test stereo image.
