Hi,
I own an LG 775N 17" Monitor. It says it supports 30-70 khz horizontal and 50-160 hz vertical. Can i use this monitor with elsa 3d revelator glasses? It says it requires a 120 hz refresh rate. But in display properties i see only a maximum of 85 hz(in any mode). How do i set it to 120 hz. Please explain.

Hi,

The message is somewhat dated, but hopefully this might help..

If you right click on the desktop and click on properties (or double click display in start/settings/control panel), then click on settings tab, in lower right you can set your resolution. The higher the resolution you set, the lower your scan rate can be. If you set your system for a lower resolution, you can set the scan rate higher. A pain to switch back and forth. Only option is to make sure both video card and the monitor support the scan rate you want (i.e.) specifically in the resolution you want. i.e. does the video card AND the monitor BOTH support 120hz rate in 1024 x 768?

If you don't find a settings tab in your display properties/graphics card, or you think both your graphics card and your monitor will support higher refresh rates, use Powerstrip.

Important for Powerstrip Users: If you chosen a too high refresh rate, you can use escape button to go back to the old refresh rate!
