After recieving a pair of H3D glasses a while ago, I dug through every forum and website regarding stereo glasses, looking for an answer as to why I could not properly activate them. I gave up, and allowed the glasses to randomly activate for whatever reason.

Now, by chance I discovered the simple solution that I thought I should share, as I never uncovered this subject in my previous research. H3D activators will not work if your desktop resolution is quite high (I use 1920x1440.) So, turn it down to 640x480 and run the activator.

I hope this is helpful to a person or two, and that it's not too redundant.
