Hello,
i have bought the Infrared Elsa Revelator at ebay..Now i have some Proplems to get it work.
First i saw.. that the batteries were em,pty :-] ok but now only the right eye-lens works(it shutters)
i have the latest Detonator XP Stereo Driver for my Crative Geforce4 MX440,
my system is a AMD 2000+
500MB ram
creative LIve!Platinum
MSI mainboard(with all onboard features disabled)
the Soundcard and Display adapter are on irq 11
but that made no probs until yet.
my monitor is a 6 year old Belinea 105596 17"
with a synch : 30-85 HZ horizontal
50-120 Hz Vertical
I rhink it has something do do with the refresh rate of the monitor that only the right lens works?
i hope u can help me!

I am definitely not an expert on stereo 3D, all my knowledge comes from my experience with my ASUS glasses which came with the GF Ti 4200 card. So weight my opinion accordingly.
It seems to me that your glasses are busted. If it was the situation when one eye remains dark and the other one is clear (no shuttering) I'd think there is something wrong with the controller which does not activate the glasses. However, if one eye shutters the controller must be working leaving the glasses to be the primary suspect. I don't think you monitor can affect only one eye.

Just my 2 cents,
Serge.

Sounds suspicioulsy like the wiring lost contact. See this 'dead IR Revelators' thread at stereovision.net and some references there.
Looks like it can be fixed without completely breaking the glasses (I couldn't, or didn't try hard enough :-( ), but that requires some delicate fiddling with the LCD panels and internal cabling of the eyewear.
