Do the revelator and edimensional wireless glasses
operate the same for 3d viewing?

No. If you are running an Nvidia graphics card, they'll both use Nvidia's stereo drivers for 3D Games. However, the edimensional also has software for other graphics cards. Plus it supports interlaced, sync-doubling, and page-flipping 3D modes, while the revelators only support page-flipping.
