Hi,

I just bought an Asus V8420 deluxe card (with VR goggles) but I just cant get the VR to work. I work with Win XP and tried to install the Detonator drivers (with stereo driver), but my PC instantly crashes when I switch to stereomode. I already read that these drivers weren't good with XP so I switched back to the Asus-drivers. The problem here is that one of the glasses stays black when I try to fire up the stereo....Damn, I bought this card partly for the goggles!

Does anyone know a solution?

I also own an Revelator (IR version). Can I make these (fabulous) glasses run with the Asus card and XP?

Basically the ASUS glasses will only work with the ASUS drivers and the Revelator will only work with the nVidia reference driver.

When using the nVidia stereo drivers with the ASUS glasses one eye will stay black and the other will stay clear. This shouldn't happen with the ASUS drivers.

You could also try the ASUS-mode of the nVidia drivers. This doesn't work for me, but it may for you. See the NEWS page for more details.

Thanks,

The Detonator drivers were present before I upgraded to the Asus board. That might be the reason for the one black lens(?) I'll try to make a clean install with the Asus driver.
