hi, i have a pair of asus vr100 glasses and have finally figured out how to view stereo 3d jps pictures but how do you view stereo movies? i have downloaded some short so called 3d clips but they have no 3d effect at all (has red/blue lines around objects etc) is there a special player available to view them ?

Sounds like these clips were made for viewing with red/blue glasses. AFAIR, somwhere in this board there was a company mentioned where you could get them for free..

You might want to join the free newsgroup 3DTV, their are over 100 members whose objective is to make and view 3D movies.

Even though you can convert the red/blue movie to interlaced or other formats, the data on the original red/blue format is too little to see a reasonable quality picture.

there should be a movie player that works with
all movies, 3d or not, all you need is for one
frame for the left eye, and one for the right
eye, you would get a smaller video because
it would have to cut some of each frame to
shift it to the right or left, but it would
work, I have done it with images
