I'm running the VRJoys with VRCaddy on a VooDoo4 and am getting bad (When any) results. I hear that the wicked3d drivers would work much better. Anyone know where I could get these? I do understand about the cd copy protection. This is the problem I'm having.

You have another problem - the VRJoy controller doesn't have the sync-doubling circuit that you would need for the Wicked3D drivers.
Sorry, no way !
Have you already asked someone at http://www.vrstandard.com for a download of the new vrcaddyme ?

Yes, I've updated to the new VRCaddyMe. Are you sure about the sync doubler issue? Do you know somewhere I can get a used set of Wicked3D glasses with drivers then?

I want to make a deal with you.
I'll give you (free) the Wicked3D original drivers from my original CD, and you'll give me the full VRCaddy drivers.
If you are interested so please answer me.

Not a good deal for Michael, since the Wicked3D drivers are useless for his VRJoy glasses...

But I want the VRJoy drivers.
I hate the Wicked3D drivers. Their quality is much less than I expected it to be.
I've heard that the VRJoy uses PageFlipping.
I'm dying to see how they work, but I can't find them anywhere to download.

Anonymous, The trade is a deal. I just got some used H3D glasses but they didn't give me the drivers. email me at rainabba@home.com when you get this and send the drivers that way if you could. The best way would be an ISO of the original disk. And yes, the VRJoy do both Interlaced and Page Flipping. Waiting to hear from you.

That would be a hell of an E-Mail - guess even snail mail would be faster than +500MB download.

Re: VRCaddy :
Just tested the latest release (Oct31) - not much impressed (read separate message).

Heres my Anon FTP that you could upload to. I didn't realize the CD would have so much on it.
anonymous/email addy 24.177.137.27 Port 23. I couldn't find your review of VRCaddy but I take it you got what you were looking for and no longer want them from me. If that is true, would you be so kind to send me those Wicked3D drivers in ISO anyhow. I would be very thankful.

Guess you'll have to discuss those details with Anonymous...
That would be ~24hours upload for me (but I would not go and spoil my good relations to Metabyte and VRStandard anyway - already stretched that in monday's posting ;-) - 99% of that in fact in one big file especially added for that purpose :-(
For the Review : just made up my mind to do some tests with the Detonator 6.31 I just installed first - and then my wive called for dinner, and tonight there's 'Space Jam' on TV...

Please don't use my board for exchange of pirated software. Otherwise I have to delete all related messages.

Ouch ! Sorry, Christoph - was just trying to convince them that it might be both easier and cheaper to buy that stuff (e.g. gaming dongle + Wicked3D drivers for $29.95 at i-glasses, best upgrade for any Revelator or old 3.5mm Stereo wired glasses like CyberBoy or 3DMAX, IMHO).
W.r.t. other official ways to get the drivers : Anyone else contacted Metabyte or VRStandard and just asked ? At least, that's how I git mine from VRStandard ca. a year ago when they were looking for beta testers...

I'm not promoting pirating here... but you can give away or sell your original software without any legal problems. The only illegality there would be if the original owner made himself a pirated copy. If the drivers in his opinion suck - he's not going to use them anyway.
Just my 2 cents...

Christopher, I'm sorry. I didn't see this as piracy in the current situation being that I purchased the glasses and I'm just trying to obtain the drivers to use them. I returned the VRJoys due to the fact that they were useless.
VRJUNKY, you make a very good point. If anyone wants to GIVE me their driver disk if they had an extra lying around I would be appriciative. But considering that is highly unlikely I would like to thank everyone for their contributions to this post. If all else fails I guess I will be buying the dongle/driver package even though I don't need the dongle and I should already have the drivers. I think this says something about Metabyte and some of the people that post on this board. The ones that were helpful know who they are. The ones that have been of not real help or even counter-productive should have their glasses break or something to that effect so they too can spend more money than they should orignally had to. I'm yet to see the wonderful effects these glasses are supposed to provide.

I need to find some resource with the Wicked3D Drivers. I got screwed by computernerdz.com when they sold me a Cyber3DVisor with no damn driver disc and because of that I cant even use the update drivers from wicked3d.com. I love how companies screw people over. Nothing like a 10 year wait for a reply because someone dropped the ball. So in the mean time I am sitting here with a headset that makes a nice $107 paperweight. Thank you computernerdz.com for screwing me over. Not to mention I paid extra to get it 2 day so that I could have it by the weekend. Boy that sure was pointless now huh??!?!!?
