Anybody notice any new problems running games with the detonator 28.32 drivers? Using the 23.11 drivers, I bought the new Dungeon Siege game yesterday, and it seemed to run fine aside from a few graphical glitches. Hoping to correct these problems, I upgraded to the latest, 28.32 drivers. Now, every time I try to start the game, I get a blue screen and a memory dump. There seems to be a timestamp-related problem with nv4_disp.dll. Anyone discover a related problem or know how to fix it?

I think I know what happened with the 2 files. Do you use Flashget or a similar download manager?
I use flashget, and when you download 2 files of the same name in the same location, it renames the second file from xxxxxx.xxx xxxxxx1.xxx. So the 2nd file should be the most recent one you donwloaded.

Hope that helps,

Ed

Yep, getting dumped to a reboot under Win XP as well. The 28.32's are hopeless. I am trying out tonight the 28.35's from www.guru3D.com.

All my problems are when I switch users paticularly after the screensaver has been running.

Yes, I got the Bluescreen too! Please send me an email to unreal_ed@gmx.de when you have a solution for this! And where do I get older drivers which works with XP/2k?

I'll post here too if I found a solution and a working stereo/driver combination

The only difference I found between the two is that the StereoE needs a reboot after the installation, whereas the StereoEI need'nt...

Go to www.guru3d.com and get the latest nvidia drivers now at 28.90 and the latest stereo drivers up to 28.32.

All problems went away after update.
