They have been released, finally and are for NT based OS'
Anyone tried them yet? Unfortunately I am away from home at the mo so have no access to my hardware. Really want to hear what they are like though.

I tried them for Windows XP. They seem to work a lot better! I mean just the images themselves look better!

The glasses will flicker during DOS boot up as the system will randomly toggle the DDC lines which drive the glasses, so this is NOT a good indication of H/W problems. More likely a monitor compatibility issue.

Hmmm, just got home. The page flipping works perfectly but I can't test it with the glasses as my Revelators seem to have died (only the right eye shutters).
Damn. Wonder if they are covered under warranty.

del %WINDIR%/system/NVRS*.DLL
Still the old disease - seems nobody at NVidia ever installs their official drivers...

I guess that I've been really lucky!! I've run Half-Life (OpenGL), Vulpine's OpenGL benchmarking utility, Madonion's 3DMark 2001 (DirectX) all with VERY GOOD results. I'm getting 1024X768 @ 85 Hz and 800X600 @ 120 Hz (virtually no flicker).

I've been too busy playing Half-Life to try anything else 'cause it is amazing. Only the ghosting from the distant light sources is a issue.

Dual PIII 1 GHz
1 GB Ram
Geforce3 (VisionTek)
Windows 2K Pro
23.11 with Stereo Drivers
21" G810 Viewsonic Monitor (!!!)

AMAZING!!!

P.S. Page Flipped Porno is pretty cool too! ;-)

Try this...

download sample MPEG movie from www.3dadventure.co.kr and save it.

download trial version of software from http://3dplus.ssc.co.kr (3Dplus LCD shutter glasses version).

And you can install and play 3Dplus software to see downloaded sample adult movie in 3D. It's real-time conversion.

Try it! very simple.

Cannot download sample movie - when click on the picture with '19' in it I get redirected to join something. I don't read Korean and altavista's babblefish won't translate it.

Do you have an alternate location for the sample movie?

I viewed a snake video and it was very good. I have revelators so i had to use anaglyph version and i still liked it.

I mean WITH the lasersight :)

BTW, is there some kind of hotkey for enabling the lasersight for games that are not pre-configured?

No hotkey for the lasersight, you must go into the
registry and add "LaserSight=0x00000001" to the
appropriate game config entry.
