Komputer, Though I also finde the tone in anonymous' post somewhat offensive, I must let you know that my alarm bells were ringing too when looking at scandalplanet. The reasons are the following: - On the opening page, there's no mentioning of stereoscopic content. - Clicking on the round icons on the right doesn't lead you anywhere. It gives a scam-like impression. The only way to check out the images and videos seem to be clicking the "Connect Now!!!" icon. - When doing this, you are prompted to download an .exe file. I don't want to install an .exe file that I know nothing of. People with modems have had such files call expensive phone numbers resulting in enormous phone bills. I can understand why visitors at your site don't want to take this risk. I think the site has a credibility problem. Actually, i was positively surprised when I closed the browser window with scandalplanet and it DIDN'T spawn a multitude of porn banners and windows. This can sound a bit harsh, but I'm only writing this to help you. I think it's fine if you make money producing stereoscopic erotica. It might help if you avoid the .exe-file stuff. Or at least, explain at the site why the users must download and install this file instead of just clicking and watching from within their browser. Alex | ||

I was holding off in doing reviews but here we go. 3d passion (http://www.3dpassion.com/enter.html) Quality : Good stereo effect. Good photography. Good women. Parallel usable with shutter glasses. Poor image resolution. Good in compression quality. Quantity : there was about 50+ images. Price : 31 cents per photo (for the 25 photo) kind of high when compared to other sites. Other : I was ripped off a few images, when I tried to use the browser back button instead of using their link to go back. Summary : I liked the content, but the image resolution is lower then I would of liked it to be, plus I was kind of ripped off a few images. I'd look forward to seeing more of their content provided they increased their resolution, and where is that 3d video? Score : 6 of 10 Awesome3d/xxx3d/missx (http://xxx3d.com/sign_up.html, http://missx.com/) Quality : Some good stereo effect. Good photography. Some good women. Analyph unless you buy their special glasses. Good image resolution. Half are good compression quality. Quantity : about 300 images. (2d images, who cares about 2d images ;) ) Price : 7 cents per photo. Other : Not having access to their shutter glasses version of their images sucked big time because they made a deal with the devil... err... vrex in order to force people to buy their shutter glasses are not have access to their proprietary image format, and the plans of this site are in the future to only have analyph, they won't even support JPS instead of VRR. Summary : Some of the images didnt have a good stereo effect, the effect seemed more flat for some of the hot women they had. The first volume (150 images) of the images had poor compression, that combined with analyph causes compression artifacts in one eye more then the other. I really dont like analyph, so I converted them into black and white JPSs using 3d combine, but not being in color kind of lowers the quality to me. Score : 7 of 10 Girls in 3d (http://www.girlsin3d.com/) Quality : Good stereo effect. Good photography. Good women. Usable with shutter glasses. Mostly good image resolution. Good compression quality. Quantity : about 150 images. Price : 3 cents per image (for the 4 dollar 7 day 'trial') Other : Unsubscribing has to be done through www.ibillcs.com, their email seems broken or there is something else going on and I was unable to email cancel@girlsin3d.com. Summary : other then the problem with unsubscribing they are pretty good. Score : 8 of 10 Photasm (http://www.photasm.com/2ndnext.html) Quality : Good stereo effect. Better then okay photography. A good women. Usable with shutter glasses. Good image resolution. Good compression quality. Quantity : around 215 unique images. Price : 3 cents per image. Other : I got the video which is okay. When it was sent, it was sent to my billing address instead of my ship-to address, embarrassing when someone curious asks what I got in the mail. Summary : I don't normally like having things shipped to me because of my family, I dont like being a situation where I tell them to mind their own business. I kind of wish the image clarity of the 2d images was as good as some of the 2d images, I think it may have been a focal problem with the stereo device he was using or it could have been a result of poor lighting, but the image quality was good none the less. Score : 8 of 10 Photonudes/3d-nude-photos (http://www.photonudes.com/home.htm) Quality : Good stereo effect. Good photography. A good women. Usable with shutter glasses. Good image resolution. Good compression quality. Quantity : 66 Price : 23 cents per image (if you go with the 15 dollar 2 week option) Other : A lot of other content of this women. Nice red pubes ;). Summary : I want more 3d images. It seems kind of sparse and I see in the 2d photos a lot of good stuff I wish was done in 3d. Score : 9 of 10 Those are the sights I have visited so far. Other sites I have not visited had weird ways of getting you to pay them, like that BlackBox3d for example has a broken payment system because I cant even get to the point of where they ask for your information. Like I said somewhere above, I don't like things being shipped to me via snail mail, so slide sets are out of the question, and I find slide sets to be very expensive anyway, so my reviews dont take those kind of sites into account. With image quality, you can never have to many pixels, I'd be willing to pay more money if the images were of a very high resolution, and the quality was as good as say Mr Starosta, but also if they charge a lot of money I would like a small thumb nail image to make sure it was worth it. The detail level is just so important when looking at stereoscopic images, it makes slides very tempting. That is primarily why 3dpassion was low on my list. Again shipping is an issue with me, and I would be willing to pay slide prices for really high resolution scans of the Starosta quality, if I could download them from the net. I really dont like analyphs, they are tollerable if they can easily be converted to a black and white stereo pair, and also compression has a stronger impact on analyphs then other types of stereo images. I'd like to have color stereo pairs, plain and simple. That is why awesome3d is low on my list, its not as low as 3dpassion because they almost make up for it by having so many images. The stereo effect. I don't like it when the photo seems kind of flat, but I also dont like it when things stick out of the screen but get clipped, it destroys the illusion. Having things popping out of the screen is a cool but if it gets clipped at the edge of the screen then that just sucks. I wouldnt mind having a few shots where 3d is extreme, making the girls look like dolls/toys, which is achievable by seperating the cameras farther apart and turning them more inward to prevent clipping, which this would be prefered for shots that are done far away, close up shots should have less seperation. Of course this is more of a preference thing, there are probably some people who prefer less of a 3d effect because it strains their eyes or otherwise. I'd love to see more stereo sex (marlene gets laid? I know thats never going to happen ;) ) on the web, as most web downloadable content is nudity, and nude photography is cool and all, nice to get off to, but seeing penetration in stereo would be awesome. Photos of a girl playing with her toy is okay but I havent seen it done quite right. Or more stereo movies downloadable from the web at higher quality (and none of that fake stereo stuff). | ||

Note for the vrex .vrr file format. it is a regular jpeg file with the first letters in the file changed to vrr (and maybe the file name too). Some apps ignore and handle it like a normal jpeg, others flip out and say it's a broken file. Just try with different programs until they work. | ||

i've messed with it already (took it into winhex and took out the first couple of bytes until it said JFIF (or what ever), and even emailed the guy about it, its a special property version of the vrr format that vrex made that only works with the glasses you buy from them. Even Depth Charger doesnt like it. Its probably some weak encryption, but I dont have the time to figure it out. As for the DVD mentioned by the previous anonymous, I've seen that here before, and I mentioned I don't really like having things shipped to me, I plan to give it a try later on but not any time soon. | ||

I also Have the Asus Vr-100 shutter glasses...and the geforce3 deluxe card....I would like to find a JPS plugin for internet explorer that works with these glasses...The Depth Charge does not. I would like to figure out or find a way to get the Glasses to work with other third party things...like DVD and sorts..I have done a search for such a JPS veiwer and non found...Depth charge will do "cross-eye" but will not "activate" the VR-100 glasses...this "activation" is what i am looking for in a JPS viewer....Thank you... | ||

Well, I rented the spykids 3d movie and the rental place gave me these "red-blue" glasses. the movie sucked so... I decided to take a gander on the web to see what anaglyphs I could find. The sites are limited! Then I found this webboard! Very cool!!! I still have not had my fill of 3d images but, I don't want to buy anything like cd's. Here's a fun site with some sexy 3D anaglyphs (adults only)- Great 3D effect! They were apperantly shot for 3D. Has nice large jpg stereo pairs on the CD. Tons of pics. Anaglyphs in black and white and color of "Casino Babes". I was able make stereographic cards for my old stereo viewer with the L/R photo pairs! A new twist to old 3D technology. 3dorgasms.com I can't subscribe to it (wife), so I don't know how good the videos are, but there are some great sample pics on the front page and also a very small sample of a video. EDIT: Okay I was able to purchase a trial membership. They have about 50 pics, all are excellent quality. Everything is anaglyph. They also have about 15 videos that are okay quality. I haven't seen any other 3D non-CGI movies on DVD to compare the quality. I was hoping the quality would be similar to the pictures, but maybe that's just not possible.
