Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a pair of RealView glasses? They have a clear lens on one side and a prism on the other.

I found only one reference at google :
http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=358CCDED.59BF%40mail.foxcomm.net
so they seem to be some kind of expensive Pulfrich-glasses.

They make regular TV and theatrical movies 3D. You have to maintain focus, like when you look at those 3D pictures in the mall.

As I said - Pulfrich effect, see e.g. http://dogfeathers.com/java/pulfrich.html
It has one glass clear and one darkened. Same as the cardboard 'glasses' you got for free for some '3D' TV shows some time ago. Requires constant horizontal motion of the camera to work properly.
It's only pseudo-3D, but may occasionally produce intersting results. Nothing I would pay $30-75 for, however.
You can get the cardboard version for free (i.e. for the cost of an SASE and receiving some spam mail) at rainbowsymphony.

>It has one glass clear and one darkened.

The "dark" lens is a prism, not simply a polarized lens. I have had a pair of these glasses and they really produce a 3D effect. the bigger the screen the better, particularly large movie screens. When I bought them, they were about $12.00. I lost them and hope to find a replacement. I cannot find a vendor.

How they work, I do not know.

Pulfrich sucks compared to real 3D!
