http://www.iart3d.com/ just worked for me - looks like they are back on-line.

(Hmm-looks also that there is someone else in desperate need for sales...??)

".....desperate need for sales....."

Yep!

The demensionals ought to have a look at these lyrics:

...might give them inspiration for a slogan or two.

Well Alexander Quest I see you haven't taken your meds yet have you. Get your mind out of the gutter and lets get serious, the only reason that post to http://www.demensional.com was placed was to help since we have the same information i-art3d has. So grow up, and who asked you anyway?

Chris,

In case you haven't noticed, theres a lot (do a keyword search) of posts in this forum recommending demensional.com. The sad thing is, many of these posts do not contribute to the discussion in any way, but are only posted there to attract potential customers.

Examples:

"View the above in 3D. Get your 3D glasses from http://www.demensional.com" in the "3d nude pics" thread.

"http://www.demensional.com" in the "3D Revelator and DVD" thread.

There's many further examples, but I'd like to mention one that was particularly annoying for myself:

In the thread "Polarisers and glasses - where to buy?" i got the reply "http://www.demensional.com". As in most of the other spam-like posts, that was the whole message.

I inquired about the polarisers and goods and got an email back from you saying that you only sold shutterglasses.

I call that a waste of my time.

If the (mostly anonymous) person posting all these ads for demensional.com is someone not affiliated to you, who's doing this to make you look bad, I think you should point it out. Inform us that these posts are not by you or your employees.

Still, unless I'm otherwise informed, I'll assume that these posts actually are made by you or someone else within demensional.com.

As mentioned above, this forum contains lots of irrelevant posts with the sole purpose of luring customers to demensional.com. In my opinion, it's a shameless way of promoting your company.

Hi Alex,

I was not not aware of those posts. In no way are we spamming anyone, as I mentioned the only reason I ever ever mention demensional.com is to help with an individual trying to get some information for our shutter glassses, or the most extreme post I will ever permit is announcing a new program we are promoting, or that we have dropped the pricing for the Eye3d Premium drastically. In no way is anyone authorized to post anything else. I will keep a very close eye on any posting that has the demensional.com domain mentioned from now on.

Interesting that you bring this up, I noticed a few posts by so called competitors that are very distasteful to me I will not mention any names. I contacted the manufacturer of the product that was being distributed by these so called distributors, to ask them to slap their distributors hands and tell them to not lie, or spam users on this forum.

I apologize to you for my comment in my previous post Alex, but you get to the point that one has to just let it out, so I hope you accept my apology.

What I would like to know is how to stop this nonsense, people posting such garbage as "I called tech support at 3 am and got an answer" blah blah. This forum to me is very precious for many reasons, and I refuse to have pirates try to post items that make others look bad. Could you help or maybe Christoph?

To me we should all being sharing information and working as a team, discovering new things, and pointing out things of interest in stereo3d.

I hope you reply to this post Alex I'm looking forward to hearing from you, to me you sound like a very concerned fellow.

Take care
Chris

Chris,

I'm not sure what can be done about the annoying posts. We've discussed the possibility of userID/login before, but I believe the consensus is, that the board should remain open.

Of course we can hope that the anonymous poster has been doing it with good intentions and stops after reading your post.

Banning posters or changing access to the board must be up to Christoph.

Apology accepted.
