Since I demonstrated interest in stereo devices and I need a monitor, a shopkeeper showed me at a special price (<300$) a 17" ADI monitor with 3D kit (infrared emitter+LCD glasses).

The monitor is described at http://www.adi.com.tw/pro_m700_s.htm
the glasses at http://www.adi.com.tw/pro_m700_o.htm

The price looks good but I'm disturbed by not finding ANY comment/review/anything about this 3D kit on the web, except on a few east-Europe sites.
Worst of all I haven't found this kit mentioned on THIS site, that is the "bible" for 3D.

Will I be able with this kit+monitor to do stereo rendering with vtk (that uses OpenGL)? Will it work with games?

Anyone around who knows something and can give support to my decision??? (to buy or not to buy, this is the problem!)

Thank you ... and you're right. I'm not convinced. I think I'll go for some well tested devices.
