I have just bought the NuView stereoscopic adaptor for my camcorder. I have noticed that because the light passes through LCD panels there is a slight green/yellow hue to the resulting picture. Has anyone else noticed this, if so have you ever tried to correct this with video editing software? What settings did you use?

Thanks

I did not observed this effect - but I did observed much more drastical effect.
It is reflection from object witch do polarizing
itself. If you will record pictures of glass, water surface and thing like that, the result will look totaly diferent in each view (diferent polarization of incoming light).
I did not observe the color shift effect.
You shuld try to make color histogram to
characterize it and than it will be posible
to corect in by standard filters in Premire
or other video-editing software. Writing and automatic filter witch will make analysis of both
pictures + corection will be an interesting task.
I must think it over ...

I've been experimenting with various settings on my Sony TRV120e Digital8 Camcorder whilst the Nu-View is attached. I have found that if I turn the Steadyshot function off the White balance is halved and thus improving the colour quality of the image.

Has anyone else noticed this effect with a similar camcorder function?
