ok so I just picked up a vfx1. After much crying and gnashing of teeth I still cant get it to work on my computer here is what you may need to know to help : I have a tnt2 and windows 98 I installed all the drivers (the new win98 ones) then got into the set up. When I try and do the test screen it shows up on my monitor but not on the head set. When I test the pitch and roll and all that stuff for the headset and cyberpuck, that stuff seems to work. After completing the the setup program window attempts to find a new hardware device and finds nothing. Upon restarting my computer if freezes up in the middle of starting windows98. Any tips? I can give you any other info you may need just ask. By the way do you know of any other groups like this where I can try and get some help? Thanks a whole lot in advance. |
