Is there any software out there for batch conversion of stereo pairs to separate left/right images?
This feature seems to be missing in the apps I tried, any idea how to make this happen?

Actually, there is a couple that do (I know for sure that 3D Combine does); however, here is the problem with batch as I see it....

Almost every stereo pair for me needs some sort of adjustment (rotation, alignment, finding my "zero" spot). I tried batch once and found that I had to redo virtually all of them.

No, 3DCombine cannot split a stereo pair to 2 separate files. Need this feature in batch mode....

A universal way for experts:

Load the images correctly numbered in
Adobe Premiere ...

Write in the Premiere Filter Factory a script-filter with convert interlaced/left/rigt or what you have to what you need ...

Export the result as numbered images ...

I've got 3D Maker 2.4 and haven't seen any options at all for batch processing
many files...
Is there another version?

ToxicX@hotmail.com if it's smaller than 1 Mb...

I've got 20 parallell jps files that I want to turn to 40 single images with separate left/right versions of the stereo pairs.

Can premiere output into separate files?

Split an image on to halves?

Gotta try it then...

Catting the images in Premiere - it is possible
by writing the corresponding script in
Filter Factory ... You can do almost anything in this way even conversion from interlaced/above-below
or even anaglyph-BW left/right ...
You can catch how to do that from the codes
on my stereo-video WWW ... Or let me know
for what format do you need the script ...

I have parallell stereo pairs in jpeg and need them in separate left and right images.
Take a 1280*480 image and split that in half into two 640*480 images. One left eye, other right eye. That's what I need.

Do you write code? If so, you could get the JPEG library from the Independent JPEG group, and modify their examples.

I just upgraded my 3D Combine to the beta release of 2.4.3 and it does appear (I've not yet tried) to decompose 3D images into two single images (a left and a right).

I post results of a test when I get a chance.
