Is it possible to get a good conversion from Red-cyan Anaglyph images to a format for shutter glasses? I`ve tried 3Dcombine but the results are disappointing

I've used the Win3d "3D PIX" application, and it
took PC anaglyphs and could convert them to B&W
3-D images to be viewed with shutter glasses. The
cancellation was excellent. I tried to get a few
anaglyph stills from a VHS 3-D video to work with
the win3d system, but the NTSC televison format
destroys color purity, and heavy ghosting was
apparent. (No fault of the 3D pix program though.)
The win3d program, which is compatible with a
wide variety of shutter glasses, is free. The 3-D
Pix program can be purchesed from Win3d and/or a
free 30 or 60 day evaluation version can be down
loaded free of charge. http://www.win3d.com/win3dapps.htm
