www.i-glasses.com, has a S-video cable to connect to the I-glasses. Does anyone know if this cable will work for the original I-glasses or only for the X2 and LC ones. | ||

It will work for the later model i-glasses known as the Apollos. Unless you bought the i-glasses in the last year or so it would not work. | ||

I would just add that it IS possible to use an S-video to RCA converter dongle and patch that into the RCA input on the 'classic' i-glasses jack box. Ryan Ismert | ||

Do you know where to get one Ryan? I have one for the Voodoo3 but the signal for RCA is different from the S-video so it only works on my Voodoo3. | ||

That message is a bit dated, i'm replying for archival purposes... As far as i know, you should be able to use any cord that has RCA on one end and SVIDEO on the other. I haven't actually tried this myself in a 3d situation, so i don't know if you might need some $1000 specialty device if it messes with the video/timing signals... I just bought an svideo to rca converter cable for $1 at a surplus store (i'm sure i got what i paid for tho...) Rob |
