I just signed up to get the updates on their future products. 800x600 just isn't enough for me, I think. But if it is for you, go for it! And please write some thorough reviews for me to read!

Thanks!

Well I have placed a pre-order.

Nothing else seems to be on the horizon at this price point.

The only other way to go would be another Infocus X1.

(If you have read any of my posts you may know I have one already for a 3d stereo shutterglass solution. Another X1 would allow me to go polorised but then we have a screen cost issue as well or a new Dell 3300 which is reported to do no ghosting stereo at 1024.)

Projector solutions are great.

But static and the headtracking function seems to up the wow factor.

I can live with 40 degree fov as that is about what I have at the moment with a 100 inch screen diagnal at 12 ft.

You need to sit closer to your screen Bob I'm sitting at 8' from my 10' screen :)
I saw an X1 on Ebay with 334 hour on the bulb for $500 last month. As far as the depolarizing screen is concerned, one can be made for about $150. Someone posted the paint formula on the avsforum.com forum somewhere about six months ago.
