Want to know what are the best available DV camcorders for stereoscopic movie making. Any camcorders to be avoided? Came to understand that latest sony and canon camcorders have lanc port hence convenient to use them in sync using LANC remote. Any models in Panasonic with LANC port?.

I bought two Sony DCR HC40E recently. Advantages of this model: Small (minimum stereo base 5.5 cm), LANC and Firewire ports, cheap.

No Panasonic cam provides LANC since LANC is a Sony invention.
