I just finished installing my fancy new film/slide scanner (Minolta with Digial ICE) on my computer. It's worth MORE than my computer. The Digital ICE does a fantastic job with scratches and dust. I would like to try and scan some Realist stereo slides and create JPS images next. If anyone wants to vounteer a few (that you will get back) that would speed the test process. The next question is more complex. This scanner can capture a 35 Mb image off a single 35mm slide (which is of course overkill for 35mm) and should be plenty high enough resolution for Viewmaster. The question is, to do a Viewmaster, I will have to seperate the cardboard, remove the pair and re-mount into a 2x2 holder, scan, and put it back together. I can make a mount I suppose, but I'm hoping someone else has done it enough to give me some hints. Any takers?

What I want to do of course is to produce a lot of JPS to share, copyright permitting of course.
