I'm a newbie to stereo video and am looking for some help.

I am wanting to create a 3D animation in 3D Studio Max (I have a stereographic camera plugin) and want to use two DLP projectors with polarizing filters. I am using a GeForce 5900 and am going to install the stereo drivers so I can use the projectors together with one getting the left feed and the other getting the right feed.

I am wanting to create one stereographic video file but am not sure what to use to achieve this. I am wanting to play the file on my computer and have the video card pull it into the appropriate projector.

Sorry if i sound stupid, I am just a newbie interested in getting a grasp on stereo video.

I would render then encode side-by-side (parallel or crossed) or over/under MPEG, at the highest resolution and bitrate your computer can play without dropping frames (run some tests to see where your limit is), then use Stereoscopic Player or StereoMovie Player to output the MPEG via dual head projection.
Here's some examples, but you would use higher resolution and bitrates: (The Stereoscopic Player and StereoMovie Player links are also on that page.)
