I have a 20 min. above/below movie clip on DVD that I want to convert to interlaced format, author and burn to DVD, play on my stand-alone DVD player, and view on my TV (standard NTSC). I can view it fullsize on my PC with Stereoscopic Player but I have a small PC screen and I'd like to see it a bit bigger. Are there any freeware programs such as virtualdub to do this? Obviously I'd like to keep the highest resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to use StereoMovie Maker,

but you can also use VirtualDub or AviSynth and a 3rd party filter called "UnViewFields": http://www.geocities.com/siwalters_uk/unviewfields.html
Michal Husak's Premiere plugins might be able to do this, too:

Thanks for the tips PKK. I'll try using the Virtualdub filters. I was using StereoMoviemaker at one point and wasn't able to save the aspect ratio I was looking for. The program would only save my file as 720x480 or sizes of similar constrained proportions. I have a file that once interlaced ends up at approx 720x240. Plus I plan on adding widescreen borders in Vdub anyway so I might as well use the same program throughout.
