Yes and no ;-)
First of all, I am not telling anyone to do this, for obvious legal reasons... but it *could* technically be done, because the Shrek DVD contains a 2D version and an anaglyph version. The 2D version just so happens to be the left eye's view.
So... what you'd have to do is remove the red (the left eye's view) from the anaglyph, and equally remove the red from the 2D version, thus resulting in color balanced left and right views... yes, the red is missing, but (depending on software) you *could* mix an overall tint of red back in to _both_ images... something that actually works better than you might think. I have done this *sort of thing* with near perfect results using Adobe After Effects. So, you will have to take it from here... I'm not going to tell anyone to rip the movies and edit them... because of the legalities, so that choice is entirely up to you.... hey, you might even figure out a way to do this by simply watching the 2D version on one monitor and the anaglyph on the other... etc... without actually ripping anything...
There is a slight problem, though... a small part of this movie has a different image size in the 2D and anaglyph version... only a small segment, but that part would have to be zoomed in and cropped to be correctly edited.

My personal preference is to do things correctly the first time ;-)
