I used the kick ass 3d app called 3dcombine. if you don't have it yet.. get it! Especially 3d Revelator owners! Anyways, I took some 3d pics as an experiment. Mostly of my car (Corvette convertible) and some of Calgary Alberta Canada area. I'm posting from work right now and my pics are home, but if anyone would like me to post them just drop me a line. If theres enough interest I may post them on this board using the /image feature.

Thanks

Are you from Calgary? I live in Edmonton. Know of any place (in either city) that sells (and demos) HMDs?

I'll give it a shot....this is a jps (created using two digital cameras) and edited with the Brightland H3DView. It is a scene of low tide at K38 (Baja California, Mexico).

it's too big, I need to resize the images and compress the heck out of them to make the 50KB limit....I'll try again later....sorry for the wasted messages....

50KB limit? That's bogus!

This board won't let you save any higher? I wonder if that could be changed? This is a stereo 3D board, after all, so should let you save stereo images that aren't forced to have quality so low as to appear with the granularity of sand.

Oh well, I guess the old board only let you include an image *link* anyway.

Could you save somewhere out on the net and give us some links?

I've set it to 150 kB. For an open non-register board this is quite generous and risky. Let's see how long it'll take until some hackers or robots misuse it.

Low Tide at Rosarita Beach Mexico....next time I'll resample the originals to get better quality, but it's not bad for it's size...

This one shows the skyline. Just a quick scan from VM colour negatives. Need to see if one of the other bracketed exposures was better eg. more cloud detail.
