Hello, Does anyone have any suggestions for creating a left eye / right eye DVD? I have the program material as two seperate quicktime sources. I was wondering if aside from exact in and out points for the source material to be compressed, if there was anything tricky I needed to know to create each disk. Are there any compression issues or just author a regular DVD? One for the Right Eye program and one for the Left Eye program. Thanks Arn | ||

IMO, it depends on how you expect to view it, and this is just the tip of the iceberg... There are _many variables_, but for example, if you want to view it with shutterglasses on a TV or computer, you might want to make a compliant DVD with an interlaced version (field sequential 3D), but another example is if you want to view it on a computer in a variety of formats using a software 3D video player (Stereoscopic Player or StereoMovie Player freeware, for example), you might have better luck with a non-compliant "full resolution" paired format, because they convert better than a squeezed version, as they don't need height doubling. Get _very specific_ about your viewing requirements and go from there, as that will determine what you need. P. K.
