The initial release could require a GeForce3/4/FX based dual head video card and WindowsXP. With the greatly reduced cost of the .7'to 1.0' high resolution LCD's and no need for driver support other than the already available headtracker drivers, the cost should be much lower than the original VFX3D. You wouldn't even need the stereo speakers as 5.1 sound is pretty much the norm now. I would imagine that IIS still probably has the molds for the original design and they would require very little, if any, modification to update it.
