I noticed the thread/flame war about a VR-Gun for sale in the "Buy & Sell 3D Products" forum, and thought that it would be very fun to implement a PC-based light gun into 3D games. However, traditional light guns require CRT monitors and are not supported for LCDs or projector setups. The scenario I'm after is a 'dual mouse' setup: one mouse for controlling the player's up-down-left-right movements and the other mouse (which would be a wireless gyroscopic mouse attached to a toy gun) would control the crosshairs aiming in the game. It would be seriously fun co-operative play, especially with a passive steroscopic projection setup! the problem is, i can't find any 3D game mods that support 'dual mouse' input: one for movement and the other for aiming. there are some mods for quake and half life with CRT-based PC light guns, but these won't work for projection setups. Has anyone successfully setup a VR light gun with a projection based system? Any dual mouse mods in existence?

thanks,
