I'm not sure how many people have figured this out before, but if you have a Nu-View adapter or any system that multiplexes field sequential 3D onto your cam's DV tape (or have transferred field sequential 3D to a DV cam for whatever reason), here's how you can "preview" it on a PC without actually capturing it to the computer. "DVapp" is apparently an *old* and very tiny Microsoft freeware "hack". You also need a shutterglasses software controller that can turn on your shutterglasses to the "line-blanking" or "interlaced" mode. My X3D controller works, and I assume the razor3D system is similar (unconfirmed): Previewing field sequential 3D video straight from my camcorder is working with "DVapp" freeware, but only with my system's hardware acceleration temporarily disabled. (This is without capturing anything to my computer!) The reason DVapp works, of course, is because you can preview the video at 100% or at *nearly* full screen view with your display set to 640x480. On my PC with XP, I disable my system's hardware acceleration by right clicking on the desktop, then going to "Properties" > "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Troubleshoot", and moving the slider to "None". I usually leave the "Troubleshoot" window open in the background (or minimized by clicking on "Show Desktop") while I'm viewing a video, then move the slider back over to "Full" when I'm finished. I set my PC display to 640x480 by right clicking on the desktop, then going to "Properties" > "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Adapter" > "List All Modes", and selecting "640x480, True Color (32 bit) 85 Hertz". -- P.
