Hi,

I have a dual 300-Mhz Ultra 2 Enterprise machine with a Creator3D Series 3 (FFB2+) video card with a stereo connector. Instead of buying an expensive shutter glasses like the CrystalEyes, is there another pair of glasses I can use instead (like one of the PC shutterglasses). I do have the Elsa Revelator, but I doubt it will be compatible...

Thanks,

Ram

It should be possible; however, you will have to build your own adaptor. See here for details of the connector.
So, you will need:
- a 7-pin mini-DIN plug, though a 6-pin PS/2 plug may do as well if it fits, since the 7th pin isn't connected anyway.
- a +5V regulator (78L05 or the like) to trim down the +12V from the output to the +5V needed by the Revelator
- a 3-pin mini-DIN female connector to plug the Revelator into.
at See my page for more information about the Revelator connections.

Thanks Andreas,

Since this is my 1st attempt (in a looooong time) with a soldering iron. I just connect right with right and left with left and connect the +12V to a regulator (78L05) and connect that to +5V?

Anything else I need to do??? Can you provide me with a circuit diagram?

Thanks a lot,

Ram
