Well, I'm trying the WinX3D driver but I'm stuck on the install screen where it has you make all the settings and test it. My glasses are on the parallel port and I have no idea what to put for:

Left On AND Mask
Right On AND Mask
Left On OR Mask
Right On OR Mask
Off AND Mask

I also can't seem to find any documentation for Winx3D. Any help apreciated...........Samualt

What glasses are you using?

The 3D Spex are about the only ones that use the parallel port, and WINx3D has a selection for the 3D Spex.

If you have different glasses, you need to know what data bits control the glasses. For instance, if data bit 2 controls the toggling (i.e. a data value of 4), and the bit is on for left and off for right, and no other data bits are needed:
Left AND mask and Right AND mask are 0 (no other data bits are needed)
Left OR mask is 4 (bit 2 is high for left)
Right OR mask is 0 (bits are 0 for right)

An O'scope is very helpful in making sure that this works right!

I have a homebrew. The glasses are "3DTV" but the interface box is my own making. It had something to do with a sega adapter and a PC parallel port.

I tried a data value of 4 and it worked! Yehaw!
Of course, without vrcaddy I still have nada. But
at least I know the darn things work!
Thanks!

I will say this, it has been along time since I tried them and I'm floored at the non-flicker we have now with the faster graphics cards and monitors. I couldn't see any flicker at all a moment ago. Cool!
