I got the trackVR, which can found at http://www.vrealities.com/trackirgx.html for $99 [i got mine for $79].
It's not perfect of course, being an entry level device, and I can't get it to work all the time [can't seem to use it in morrowind at all].
But then again, people are having problems with the more expensive ones as well.

Iam Also looking for a Head tracker. (must have 3-DOF) ..used or a cheap new one. under the $300 mark (way under if pos).

With the VRTracker 2 USB can you still use the button's and scroll wheel on your mouse while your useing the VRTracker 2 USB at the same time ?
