Hi guys,

I originally purchased a VFX1 headset - but the novelty wore off as I wanted to get more Windows based games working in 3d - not just DOS games.

As a compromise I purchased the Terminator H3D shutter glassses which are fantastic. I can get most windows direct 3d games working in stereoscopic mode.

Now the next step is to get the stereoscopic effect on a big screen. I originally thought of a projector - but they are too expensive.

So here is what I want to do (but I need your thoughts/assistence please!).
I have looked on mindflux.com.au at some of the HMD's - specifically the IO-display systems - i-glasses monocular. The website indicates that this model does not support 3d - does that mean there is no way I can get games to work in the same fashion that I can my shutter glasses?

According to mindflux, the only HMD's that support stereo 3d are in excess of AUD $3,000.

I guess I don't really want to shell out money on the monocular version if it wont play games in 3d.

Finally - can I conclude that if I was to purchase the monocular version - the only thing it would be good for is 'being a portable, nice sized screen' - but wouldn't support 3d?....

Thanks in advance for your held guys.....

Nah, you can get a pair of I-Glasses SVGA 3D for just over $600 dollars. It will play all the same games with great stereo effect. If you're interested in a pair then head over to http://www.vrealities.com/igsvga.html

I tried the Australian seller Mindflux but they are selling the i-glasses svga 3d for AUD $2,400.

I managed to get the exact same glasses from vrealities.com for AUD $1,100.

Thanks

John
