We have 'inherited' a retired stereobench with wireless CrystalEyes shutter glasses. :*)
The liquid crystal in most of the shutters is well on the way to becoming solid crystal (feathery formations extending across the window), so they need refurbishing or replacing. :*(

My question is: Are there any less expensive shutter glasses which are compatible with the CrystalEyes emitter, so that we can just buy a couple of pairs and have them work 'out of the box?'

Thanks for any advice,

Jeremy

I don't think you will find anything IR-compatible outside Stereographics. You might be lucky with wireless Revelator glasses and emitters, but you would have to find someone to build an adaptor. Information about any Stereographics emitter connectors should be available on their website; most important caveat, judging from the age of the equipment, would be to get the (most likely) 12V supply of Stereographics down to 5V for the Revelators.

I thing that NuVision 60 GX from www.nuvision3d.com can accpet stereographic signal. But this is a Pro model, not so expensive as Stereographic but not cheap as well ...

Just buy some new glasses with controller. You don't need the StereoGraphics controller. The StereoGraphics controllers are some of the least compatible on the market.

Just get some glasses from my Top 20 list at http://stereo3d.com/recommend.htm

Even if your VGA-board has a DIN-3 out there is no law which forces you to use it.

Many Thanks for those replies - and for the pointer to the Top 20 list, which I had not seen before.
