My Voodoo3 is very uncooperative when it comes to running self-made DirectX programs (8.1a and the respective SDK). The LPDIRECT3D8::CreateDevice() function always returns a negative value, in runtime (it compiles fine). I tried running the same program on a GeForce (on a different computer) and things worked fine. I really need to work on the computer with the Voodoo, though, so if anybody knows a way to get around this, help would be appreciated.
