...my ED glasses with headtracking device arrives. So in anticipation of that what drivers (reg vid drivers coupled with the stero) do you guys recommend?

My system:
Athlon2000+
SIS mobo
GF3 ti2000
WinXP
DX8.1
21" NEC Monitor

I'll primarily be playing Morrowind, Sacrifice, Mafia and MOHAA.

Thanks in advance guys.

Good question. What software supports head tracking with shutter glasses? Anyone know?

Darksharp here.

Actually I'm more interested in what vid drivers and stereo drivers is currently recommend by you the users? I was listing the head tracker as incidental to the whole post. :)

Should I get those Russian drivers?

As for head tracking with shutter glasses, a 3D stereo application program could *possibly* be made to support 6DOF head tracking, by changing the view on-screen as the head moves side-to-side. This would give the appearance that the user could see around the sides of a 3D object. (I've never heard of any software that supports this, though.)

As for the stereo drivers themselves, your GF3 will work great with the latest driver. Download it, as well as the separate stereo driver, from NVIDIA's site and those should take care of all your gaming needs (DirectX games, that is).

As for Russian... I don't know about NVIDIA's internationalization or language support (I'm sure all the EU guys could tell us), but that's a GUI issue. The drivers themselves should work fine, even if you speak Martian! >(:-I)

Yes the Russia ones should work. I'm using them with 42.01 drivers
