Anyone heard of Oriscape? Apparently it's a company based in China that's involved in the VR market. Currently, they have many different models of HMDs, one of them being the Cyberman 2326M:

Here are some specs supplied from TekGear.com:

Currently, the HMDs are being sold for a relatively low price of $300 by Intellicam USA on eBay, based in Cincinnati, Ohio:

Anyone know about this company, and the quality of their HMDs? I'm intrigued by what they have to offer. Thanks in advance!

I'd be interested in finding out more about these HMDs too. Funny how some of the models are marked VV or Virtual Vision, which was a name you used to hear about in HMDs in the '90s, but I haven't heard anything from in a long time.

I can't tell if the ones on eBay sold (or sold out, the quantity was 50), or not. Was anybody watching it more closely? Anyone buy one?

The eBay listing mentioned a resolution of 220K pixels (but no additional tech. details). Compared to the old 180K HMDs from the mid-1990s that you see selling used on eBay, sometimes for as much as a few hundred USD, maybe $300 isn't so bad for that Chinese one, new? (Undoubtedly no head tracking and no stereo, although at $300, I wonder if it could be hacked?)

That TekGear HMD is listed as quarter VGA (UGH!) 320 x 240 or 76,8000 dots. Less than half the rez of those mid-'90s HMDs... and at $500, I'd say nowaymanforgetit!
