Hi All,

Just a thought if this is possible. I'm currently having a old notebook with 800x600 TFT screen. I'm thinking about dismantle the notebook and take the LCD screen out so that I can solder the VGA port in onto the LCD screen. Then I can use the VGA output from a PC onto the LCD screen. This would give you free (almost) LCD Monitor or as second monitor. I'm also thinking if this is possible, we can also strip of the backlighting panel from the LCD and use a strong lamp to turn it into LCD front projection unit. Anyone had a schematic on how to convert the input into VGA?
