For anyone intrestead, I have the i-glasses SVGA 3d and here is some of my game expierences. My system is AMD Athlon 1.5Ghz, 512mb Ram, ABIT GeForce4 Ti4200, Latest and greatest Nvidia Dets and Stereo3d drivers.

1) Quake3 Arena, and Team Arena - runs so perfect. The default 3d config in the Nvidia Stereo drivers is just beautiful for me. 800x600 60Hz Graphics Maxed.

2)C&C Renegade - Looks beautiful, minor adjustments with the stereo seperations. But unplayable since I have still not found a way to disable the cursor(the big green block that shows you your enemy). This unfortunately totally throws off my aim in the game since I see double.

3) Jedi Knight 2 - Looks great with default Nvidia config. This game is listed as a 3d game in the nvidia stereo game properties, but there is no laser sight cursor.(This is a nifty cursor that is enabled in stereo3d mode for configured games from nvidia, quake3 has it) This makes it a bit hard to aim, but the game runs with no probs in 3d, very playable.

4) Undying - Unable to disable cursor yet again, making my aim quite horrible. The game looks fantastic though, espiecially with the iglasses in a dark room and the volume way up. I can not take a screenshot in this game anymore. I have about a dozen I took ahwile ago, but now when I try this, I get a quick blue screen with some error writting and my pc restarts. This screen with the writting pops up and is gone 2 fast for me to see what kind of error is going on. I've also had an occasional lock-up.

5) Half-Life - Unplayable in stereo3d. I've tried just about every refresh rate and config I can think of, but as soon as I start the game, I see the screen with lines shifting to the right, and the whole screen continously moves up and comes back into view from the bottom. This game runs fine in windowed mode, but no stereo3d is available in windowed mode ( So far this game is unplayable for me.(which means no TFC CStrike, or Ric)

6) Deus Ex - Looks great default config. but the cursor, the crosses that enlarge as you approach an enemy are not drawn correctly for stereo3d ( I keep seeing double. Haven't played with the config 2 much to see if I can fix this yet. In a nutshell, looks great, bad aiming, very annoying.

7) AVP2 - My Favorite game to play in stereo3d. Minor adjustments for Stereo seperation. Slight problem - very bottom of screen is garbage, I lose just a bit of my hud. But I've been having a blast playing this with the i-glasses.

8) AVP2 Primal Hunt - Major convergence problems, playing with the configs I can make it come out pretty nice, but its still just a bit off. Ever since I've installed this game, I've been getting D3D errors as well, not sure why. Its been working about 75% of the time so far.(This may have something to do with my NView settings, but I tried disabling my regular monitor as well as adding a desktop space, and this has not solved the problem, just works when it wants 2.)

9) Tetris Worlds - Unplayable, same problem as Half-Life, see #5 above. ( I really wanted this one 2 work, spend tons of time playing tetris heh)

Thats all I've been able to go through since I've recieved my goggs. I'm sure some of these problems are due to my ignorance of stereo3d, I'm very new to this side of graphics. The single biggest problem is the cursors. If anyone knows how to disable them in these games, please let me know! )

Some games do show up on Nvidia's supported stereo3d list, but do not have the laser cursor inside the games. Does anyone know of any registry locations to turn this laser sight on? I really wish there was a check box to just turn ON the laser sight for any specific game.

And all these games do run perfectly at 1024X768 maxed detail on my regular monitor. So it doesn't seem to be a computer problem, seems to do with the stereo3d setup. For anyone wondering, DVD watching is awesome. I usually put on my goggs, turn off the lights and lay down comfortably on the soffa or the bed = )

Forgive the spelling errors, I've been up for ahwile...and now its time for some sleep....

How about eye strain? How long can you have them on before your eye/head hurts? Have your family/friends tested? Can they use it without problems?

I've used them for about 4 hours at a time and have not noticed any eye strain or negative side effects. My Cousins love it and beg me to let them play Quake3 when they visit. My Dad enjoys it as well, but my Mom isn't a very big fan. )

The only thing that I could see as a problem is the way they are strapped onto your head. The foam pad on the front is used to carry the weight of the goggles and is held in place by the elastic on the back. Theres not a lot of weight, but the pad will begin to be a nuisance after a couple of hours, so I sometimes end up on my back, or with my head tilted down--as if I'm looking at the ground--so I can loosen the elastic to take off the pressure. And yes, you will have a nice big red mark on your forehead from the front pad after four hours heh.

Glad to hear someone else has a pair of i-glasses svga 3d! Thank you for the list of games. In addition I will add the following:

Medal of Honor: No problems
Soldier of Fortune 2: No problems
Spider-Man: The Movie: HUD missing when in 3D. Otherwise excellent. Very cool in first level.
Morrowind Elder Scrolls III: Excellent

As far as the forehead, I agree completely. Definitly will leave a mark after a extended wear. Otherwise I think it's great. And I too have never had any eye strain or headaches.

BTW, I've now had my pair for about 6 months, and after the initial problems I have already described, I have not had a single problem, and I use mine daily.

Just a note, upgraded my Nvidia Drivers to the Det40s, and I am now able to play all Halflife games and Tetris Worlds in Stereo3d! The line of garbage I had on AVP2 is now gone as well. These drivers seem to have helped out my system overall, big hats off to Nvidia.

A friend of mine also just picked up The Thing, I am having trouble with this game though in stereo3d = / The screen is flickering, more so on certain objects--sounds like some kind of texture problem. But its still pretty spiffy with the i-glasses in plain view. )
