Hello,

I've a workstation with a Asus TI8460 GF4-Grafikboard. I've althoug two videobeamer. I want to deal with this two beamers with passive stereo via polarization. Many programms like cortona supports Pageflipping. I want to split this signal into two signals for the two Ports of the Asus card. One posibility is the cyvix-box (demultiplexer) but it about 12000 Euro.

Does any one know a software-solution? Or a other "Cheep" way (under 2-4000 Euro)?

Thanks
Martin

Solution:
Forget your GF4. Buy a dual output Quadro 4.
Redirection of the OpenGl stereo to 2 differnet connectors is a standard future ...
Or buy a dual output GF 2 MX for 80$, hack it
to Quadro 2 MX and you will get the same ...
Unfrotunately GF4->Quadro 4 hack dose not exist now ..

What do you want to visualise stereoscopicaly ?
The sugegstion done by me is suitable for proffesional applications and stereo-video playback. For non-OpenGl games you will be forced to pay for cyvix ...

Hello M.H.

thanks for your answer. You 'll see the level of my work on the Price for a cheap solution (under 4000 Euro) It professionel architecturel vizualization.

Have you already done this way? On wich grafikboard on with wich driver does your system run?

I'll going to buy one or two new dual-workstations so i can buy a "right" board. All other things I want to do works on the GF 4-card.

Thanks

Martin

What software do you use for visualisation ?
Profesional software with OpenGl stereoscopic
output ? It works only for such sort of output ...

If you need to make e.g. some demo presentation - the optimal way is to render a stereoscopic movie
and use OpenGl stereoscopic movie playback software. I am working on such code for Lightspeed Design company (DepthQ) . We have made several architecture visualistion movies as well ..

Yes. I have done evrything I mention. With Inno3D GeForce 2 MX400 HW hacked to Quadro 2 MX (dual VGA out) and with ELSA Quadro 4 750 XL . It works with standard nVidia Quadro drivers .
There is only one problem - the left and right
output are not in 100% genlocked but this trouble is eliminated by the long latency of LCD projectors (you will see eg. frame 1 in left eye
and frame 2 in right eye for a short time) ...

Let me know if you need more details ...
