Does anyone have any information on the vrex projector line as far as price goes? I'd imagine it would cost quite a bit so would it be more financially sound to go with the dual LCD projector/multiplexer setup or with the vrex line? Any reviews of the vr projectors themselves as far as being a good buy? Any help would be appreciated.

With a 2-projector setup you get (in theory) double resolution and presumably higher light output than with the VRex technology.

A single VRex projector would be easier to handle and you don't need a seperate VGA-de-multiplexer which is quite expensive.

I never had the chance to see a VRex projection. I heard from a user once that there is quite some ghosting and that the ghosting gets worse over time.

VRex somehow bonds a micro-polarizer grid to the LCD's. The alignment has to be very precise to avoid ghosting. The inner parts of the projector get very hot from the projection lamp. So it's conceivable that this hurts the alignment of polarizer and LCD-panel over time.

But, as I said, I have no first hand experience with the stuff.

For prices and availability please contact VRex directly.
