I've been on a vigorous search for anyone who has or has any information on where or whom I can purchase an original VCD player or original VCD discs which supports field sequential interlaced format viewing. Any support would be appreciated. Please e-mail me if you can be of assistance. $$$ in any form is of no concern. Thanks in advance.

Every stand-alone VCD or DVD player delivers an interlace signal. Otherwise it wouldn't be compatible with standard TV-sets.

I'm pretty certain that the VCD itself contains only progressive encoded images (25 or 30 per second) making it useless for frame-sequential 3D-content.

There are field-sequential 3D-DVD's which work on any standard DVD-player.

Sorry... what I meant to say was VHD and not VCD (big difference). Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, that's a rare item indeed and it only supports interlace, since VHD is completely analogue.
