A company selling the ultimate 3D DVD pack with 2 wired shutter glasses tells me it will work on 99% of LCD projectors. I have a fujitsu LPF4200E projector and want to use it. The manual has no refresh rate specs in it but i know that when i interrupt the composite video input (ie disconnect, change channel on VCR etc.) the image remains frozen for a breif moment. Would this be a sign that it has some sort of digital buffer stage before the panels and thus make the synch between the glasses and screen impossible? (not considering the afterglow effect)?

Thanks a lot for any help

I believe you are right about the buffer. But it might be possible for you to disable the buffer (or frame rate converter as it is also called) somewhere in the setup menu of your projector.

If you feed the projector from a computer instead of a standalone player, using VGA, this might help:
With some projectors, the frame rate converter is inactive at certain refresh rates. Often 60 Hz AFAIK. You might try experimenting with different refresh rates from the computer and see if one works.
