I have been unable to find a turnkey solution to do the following: Take 2 AVI files and combine into one with alternating frames for playback in 3D.

My plan is to capture video from two synchronized high speed cameras (500-1000fps) onto one or two graphics boards (Foresight I-60 probably). This will generate two AVI files. To view in 3D, I believe I need to combine the two files into one frame sequential AVI file and then view using a 3D graphics board and some shutter glasses.

Is there some software out there that will do the editing like I want, or do I have to manually edit the AVIs? Any alternatives to my plan? Any suggestions for capture board(s), playback board, and other necessities? This is a work project, so money can be spent.

So what are you shooting at those insane speeds? Car crashes? Bullets? Could you post a clip publically?

If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Not really, it's just a work project involving some biological research that involves trade secrets (not technique, just content). But thanks for the links. I'll check'em out.

Any other suggestions for hardware/software I might need to set up the 3D viewing part would be appreciated.
