I need a large cheap bright dual projection system. I read an old discussion about projection panels and have seen some on Ebay for sale. Given a panel with at least 768x1024 resolution, and a bright projector, what would you experienced with this think could be the largest I could clearly project this?

Being that I would like to put it on a screen at least 15 to 20 feet across, would this work, or should I invest in projectors?

Also, when using polarized filters, what type of video projectors work best?

Thanks,
Robert

I don't really know how big a screen you'd be able to use with overhead projectors. I believe them to give more light than most LCD and DLP projectors, so it's a question of how much light is lost in the panels.

For polarized filters, your chances are best with DLP projectors, as they don't polarize the light.

Be aware that for polarized projection, you'll need an (expensive) non-depolarizing screen.

There's lots of possible pitfalls (especially the risk of your projector or panel polarizing the light), so whenever you can, try before you buy.
