Hi Everyone,

It has been a pretty good year here at IIS and I wanted to say thanks to everyone here for breaking me into the 3D business. We are swamped with software development projects and are maxed out until the end of the year.

We have had some interest from people that would like to see a Quicktime VR plugin for the VFX3D. The plugin would basically allow you to look around a QTVR panorama and now IPIX photo bubbles, with the tracking on the VFX3D.

What I am looking for is a programmer that has experience working with QTVR and their SDK etc, that would be willing to create this plugin. In exchange I will provide a free VFX3D and any expenses for software needed. Please let me know ASAP if interested.

Hi Stephen
It sounds intersting. I have experiences with
stereo-video software creation and scientific
stereoscopic visualisation software. I will have
a look on the QTVR SDK and let you know, if I
can encode what you need ...

Hello,

does anyone know for sure which headsets track
on QTVR images? I was not able to determine from
the descriptions of each product whether VR tracking
was provided. I prefer products that are moderately
priced.

As far as I know QVTR doe not support any headrtacking HW. You mus timplement ths upport for the given device yourself, or use the device like a virtual mouse to achive compatibility.
