Infrared or wired glasses ? Just to check for hardware problems :
For infrared, check batteries. Using a camcorder, you can check if the emitter works (they can see IR).
Make sure that the emitter resp. wired glasses get power:
  • splitter cable should be plugged directly into the PC (some monitor cables don't have pin #9)
  • Check the Geforce for missing parts around the VGA output connector (see picture). Most MX/400's I've seen recently have that fuse installed, though (a big, mostly green SMD part)

fuse for +5V output missing

The symptoms you describe suggest that there probably aren't any software problems. Try going to the stereo tab, enable stereo (even though the medical test won't work). Realize that the revelator glasses will not trigger unless the GAME refresh rate is set to 100Hz. For some stupid reason, the 23.11 drivers default for all resolutions to a refresh of 72Hz or so. This is probably why your glasses aren't activating, even though everything else seems fine. Go to the stereo properties tab, select the stereo setup and test button. For testing purposes, select 100Hz as the refresh rate for all resolutions.
The medical test should work now.

@vato4ever:
hard to tell from that picture, though the board looks like they saved everything they could - can you check with a multimeter and the print side of the board whether VGA pin9 has any connection to what might be +5Volts ?
@quick4:
I'd seriously doubt that 100Hz thing - at least my Revelators work fine (besides the flicker, 'course, and occasional flashing) even at 60Hz referesh.
Going to check my flashing occasionally - DDC line to monitor is cut, so it's either caused by Windows PnP or some IRQ problem with the driver.

Hey, i'm happy to inform you that my friend turned my mx400 video card into a quadro2 mx, he "reprogrammed" the video card. i dont know how, but it worked. now my revelators work just fine.

i'll put a pick on the web if someone needs to know what he did to my card to make it a quadro2 mx. if someone needs it just ask. thanks for the info andreas it was lot of help.

altough i just need to ask. does the double screen always shows (even with glasses on) it still looks like there is 2 depths....(traslucent one and a real one)..is that correct? i wonder.

so after the corrections to my video card my config is as follows:
athlon 1.1ghz
256 ram
Quadro2 Mx(or something like it) witn 64 mb
windows xp
detonator 23.11
and latest stereo drivers...

AND IT WORKS JUST FINE!!!!!!!!!!1
THANK U GUYS...U R THE BEST!!
PS: SHULZ RULEZ!~!

Hi, Andreas. Was your desktop refresh rate at 60Hz or was the game refresh rate at 60Hz? I don't know whether it is a 23.11 thing or not, but when you go into page-flip mode, the monitor will be at the refresh rate as set in the stereo properties tab -- not the monitor tab. Its possible that your desktop was at 60hz but when you went to page-flip mode, the monitor switched to 100hz or more. I've heard elsewhere that revelators won't respond to less than 100hz and that has certainly been my experience. Frankly, I think this probably has to due with the 23.11 drivers rather than the hardware in the revelators.

Well - I have the 23.11, a TNT2-M64 (umm, yeah, not quite state-of-the art;-).
Stereo refresh rate in the stereo control panel and forced DirectX refresh rate in DXDiags set to 60Hz, monitor's OSD says 60Hz (both in normal and stereo mode), the image flickers terribly - and the Revelators do work.
