I have a VFX3D that's been in a box since I moved because I have no room for my nifty PVC stand-up cord holder (to prevent you from wrapping yourself up in the cords.) I also have an MS Sidewinder with the middle ball taped that I used as a controller since it has lots of buttons that you can map to whatever keys you need. This unit has been used but not too much, it is still in quite good condition, it just doesn't have a home in my new (small) apartment :_(

Anyone interested contact me at koontz@atsecure.net. I have a digital camera so I can take any photos you want of it, the sidewinder, etc. I'm looking for something in the $1000 range which seems to be the going rate :^)

I was unaware that IIS had dropped the price so much. When I purchased the unit it was $2,000. I'm a little confused though, just recently 12/12/01 Steve Glaser from IIS put up a returned VFX3D which he classifies as "used" for $1,000.

http://www.stereo3d.com/discus/messages/21/966.html?1008175646

Why would his "used" price be $1,000 if that's the new price? If I am wrong about this (Steve, maybe you could clarify) please tell me as my price could be negotiated.

As for your second question, are you asking why I am selling it for $1,000 or why I am selling it at all. The answer to the second option was stated in my original listing, I have no room to use it standing up and so I find myself not using it that much anymore. Since I don't forsee myself moving very soon it does me no good to keep it around if I use it infrequently.

Hi Guys,

We have about 15 units left, so we are liquidating. That is the reason for the price drop. The remaining units are being sold for $1295.00, $1000.00 if you buy more then 1. I remember that David has had his for about a year, so my guess is that it is in great shape. If someone buys it from him, I will throw in new liners at no cost. Hope that helps.

Steve

Thanks Steve! That is very kind of you. If only more companies acted as IIS has to me (quick turnaround when my original unit had some problems) this, etc. Ah well, we all have to have a dream, right?

I'm glad you stand by your statements about the VFX3D, enough to put the weight of your identity behind your assertions, oh wait... no. You cower behind anonymity. You accuse others with false evidence (your claim that they were $1000 new) and now you resort to petty "You suck" debating. I guess I shouldn't expect too much from someone who isn't man (or woman) enought to let us know who they are, but instead lets us discover for ourselves that they are an Anonymous Coward. It is really bad form to be feeding the trolls I know, but they're so much fun to play with!

Yeah I would be upset too if I had a 240x220 headset that I spent WAY TOO MUCH on, that I could not get rid of :(

Once again, you presume, cower behind an "Anonymous" title and do not attempt to engage in any sort of meaningful discussion. The only thing making me upset is an anonymous coward butting in on a post that has nothing to do with him (or her) and spreading FUD (oh, and OVERUSE OF CAPS.) I enjoyed my VFX3D (no matter what you say about the resolution of it) when I had the space to use it and now I'm passing it on, that's it. If you can't comprehend that concept then I pity you for your life will be full of misunderstandings. I'm done with you troll, go crawl back under your bridge.
