anyone know where to find large linear polarizing filters to use on dual DLP projectors in the U.S.? I can't use the standard photographic filters because the image coming out of the lens is already larger than the largest filter I could find (72mm i think). And they need to probably be glass... they are going on large venue projectors (Digital Projection 15sx to be exact) and I am afraid a poly film might melt. I know about the JVC offering, but they are too proud of it $$$. I just want something to experiment with until I can prove a concept to the higher ups.

Thanks for any suggestions

In the UK they are available in large sheets from Lee Filters.
See http://www.leefilters.com/LPFD.asp?PageID=396
I think Lee are also in US.
The 'glass' polarisers are only polaroid film sandwiched between glass.
If commercial ones are available they will cost a fortune.
